Having pursued his interests in functional medicine, mind/body medicine, spirituality, and personal transformation for many years, Dr. Evans is dedicated to sharing this wisdom with others to help bring health and happiness into their lives.

Careers

Joel M. Evans, M.D., a board-certified OB/GYN and international lecturer, is the Director of The Center for Functional Medicine in Ridgefield, CT. He is the immediate past Chief of Medical Affairs for the Institute for Functional Medicine and continues to serve as the external lead of IFM Advanced Practice Module in Hormone Health since its inception in 2011.

Dr. Evans has been a student and practitioner of mind-body medicine since 1997 and has since joined the Board of Directors of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in July 2023.
